This Privacy Policy describes how Yuru-fuwa Studio ("the Studio") handles user information in the Android application ("the App") provided by the Studio.
Information We Collect
The App does not directly collect, store, or process personal information such as names, addresses, or email addresses.
Notes and other data entered into the App are stored locally on the user's device by default and are not transmitted to or stored on any servers operated or managed by the Studio.
Data Storage, Export, and Backup
Data created within the App can be handled by the user in the following ways:
- Local storage on the user's device
- Export and import in CSV or ZIP format
- Backup and restore using the Google Drive API
Backup and restore using the Google Drive API are available only when the user authenticates with their own Google account. Data is stored in a private, non-visible area of the user's Google Drive. The Studio does not view, access, or collect this data.
Important Notes Regarding Backup and Restore
While the Studio takes reasonable measures to ensure data integrity, data loss or restoration failure may occur due to factors including, but not limited to:
- Device failure, loss, or reset
- Operating system or device-specific issues
- Changes, limitations, or outages of Google Drive or related services
- Network errors or insufficient storage space
- Interrupted operations or user error during backup or restore
Google Drive backups do not guarantee complete or successful data restoration. Performing a restore operation may overwrite or delete existing data stored on the device.
Users are strongly encouraged to maintain additional backups of important data at their own discretion and responsibility.
Password Lock Feature
The App provides an optional password lock feature that can be enabled by the user.
- A password is required when the App is launched or resumed from the background
- Exporting data in CSV format is disabled
- Data exported in ZIP format is protected with a password
- Data backed up to Google Drive is stored in an encrypted form
Please note that data stored locally on the device itself is not encrypted. Users are responsible for managing the security of their devices.
Advertising and In-App Purchases
The App displays advertisements by default using the third-party advertising service Google AdMob.
For ad delivery purposes, advertising providers may automatically collect information such as device information and advertising identifiers. This information is not collected or managed by the Studio.
Users may remove advertisements through an in-app purchase. All payment processing is handled by Google Play, and the Studio does not collect or store payment information.

While the Studio makes reasonable efforts to ensure the proper operation of the App and the safety of user data, the Studio shall not be held responsible, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for any data loss, corruption, or other damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.
The App is provided for use at the user's own discretion and responsibility.

This Privacy Policy may be updated without prior notice due to changes in laws, regulations, or the App's features.
